Shelby Jackson

Founder and Principal Consultant

Shelby Jackson is an operational strategist and systems designer who strengthens infrastructure for social justice movements. A citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Shelby designs systems that facilitate the equitable transfer of wealth and power to Native and other marginalized communities. Passionate about reshaping the role of operational systems in movement building strategies, Shelby enjoys empowering teams to harness the potential of more streamlined and strategic operational infrastructure. Shelby has over a decade of combined startup nonprofit and social justice movement building experience spanning operations, administration, finance, communications, development, data and technology. Before launching her own consulting firm, Shelby was an Advisor at Tides Advocacy. Prior to that she was the Senior Manager of Systems & Data and the Native Voter Fund Advisor at Movement Voter Project. She was also previously a Project Manager at Movement Strategy Center and served as Board Treasurer at Native Youth Leadership Alliance. She received a BA in Anthropology from Dartmouth College.

Nebula

Nebula is Shelby’s right-hand pup in charge of morale and treat breaks. Hailing from Taiwan, Nebula made her journey across the Pacific via AHAN rescue. She enjoys walks in the forest, belly rubs, and chasing squirrels.
